Kasia Jimenez - RDH
Born and raised in Poland, Kasia came to the United States as a teenager. She was a dental assistant for 13 years before she became dental hygienist. Kasia earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology at Northeastern Illinois University at Chicago. She then attended the Kennedy-King College Dental Hygiene Program at the University of Illinois Chicago, College of Dentistry. She graduated with honors and was a recipient of Oral Health Award. During her time in the dental hygiene program, she served as a Class Representative.
Kasia loves educating her patients about importance of a healthy smile and body. Kasia served as a student delegate to the Illinois Dental Hygiene Association while in school and was an Alternate Delegate for 2009. She is an active member of American Dental Hygiene Association.
She currently serves as the President for Chicago Dental Hygienists’ Society and is a member of Illinois Dental Hygienists’ Association Public Health committee. Kasia developed educational program for children in Old Town community boys and girls club where she teaches kids between four and six years old on importance of “healthy mouth” and proper brushing and flossing technique.
Kasia is a member of the Dental Hygiene Program Advisory Committee for the Sanford-Brown College Dental Hygiene Program. She volunteers at Goldie’s Place and Community Health Clinic when time allows. When she is not in the office, she loves to travel, keeps in shape with yoga, running, P90X and spends time with her husband Roman and dog Cole.
