Dr. David H. Baukol
I was born and raised in Webster, South Dakota. I did my undergraduate study at Augustana College in Sioux Falls, S. Dakota with a B.A. degree major in Biology and minor in Chemistry. I moved to Chicago to attend Loyola University-Chicago, College of Dental Surgery. Then, I attended the University of Chicago and did my residency in General practice.
My first practice was within a large group practice in downtown Chicago and opened my own in Old Town and have enjoyed it ever since. There is a real sense of belonging and community around my practice and home – important to a small town upbringing. I practiced for several years and realized how passionate I am about what I do and wanted to go back to school to improve my knowledge and skills.I have studied at the L.D. Pankey Institute in FL, I also studied at the Peter Dawson Center and with Dr. Frank Spear in Seatle, WA.
The impact of Dr. Peter Dawson and Dr. Frank Spear and L.D. Pankey on how I now practice is significant. I enjoy a patient orientated relationship based approach to comprehensive dental care.
I support the Old Town Triangle Association and the Old Town Chamber of Commerce and an active member of my parish, Immaculate Conception Church and St. Michael Church.
I am a member of American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, Illinois Dental Society and American Equilibration Society and American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. I sit on the Board of Advisors for St. Joseph’s University, Institute of Bioethics.
